Betty Albrecht Memorial Scholarship

The Jersey Sound Chorus established the Betty Albrecht Memorial Scholarship in 1999.  It is in honor of our dear friend and director, Betty Albrecht.  Every year a sum of money is donated to a talented female high school graduate in the Tri-State area who plans to major in vocal music.  We have already sent thirteen very accomplished young women on their way.  We plan to do this for many years to come, since the joy of music is what we are all about.  We feel that this living memorial honors Betty and her dedication of music.
